School Update - September 28

New Student Services D2L Shell for Centennial Students!

  • Centennial High School students have been added to a new course in their schedule called “Wellness”
  • This is NOT an actual class, nor something students physically attend
  • The ‘course’ is a way to connect students with our Student Services Resources through a newly created Student Services D2L shell
  • The shell will go live next week
  • The D2L shell (available to all CHS students) will outline various resources available to support student success; including:
    • Processes for booking appointments with Guidance
    • Mental health resources
    • Information on Graduation requirements
    • Information about IPPs
    • Access to instructions on how to apply to Post-Secondary institutions
    • Information on upcoming Scholarship opportunities
    • Updates on sessions and events involving Student Services
    • Indigenous supports
    • Learning strategies and planning tips
    • And much, much more – look forward to hearing more from us!
