Graduation 2026 Information Booklet
- Grad Fees must be paid by February 27, 2026, in order to participate in the Ceremony. Please complete payment of fees if not already done so through your myCBE account in PowerSchool. Graduation Ceremony fees are inclusive of Grad Gown rental, Graduation Certificate with folder, and Cap with tassels (yours to keep), as well as costs associated with the facility rental. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the $60.00 graduation fee, please connect with our Business Manager, Karen Cooper kecooper@cbe.ab.ca.
- In order to attend the Banquet, ALL school fees must be paid in full by February 27.Tickets will go on sale in early April - more information to come.
- Please ensure that your student has submitted their height for their gowns to Ms. Basra or Ms. de Leon if they have not done so already. There are QR codes posted in guidance and around the school to send this information directly to them.
- Information regarding requests for tickets for Ceremony and Banquet will be communicated to students during the February 20 Period 2 extended class. Students with Period 2 spares should attend the Learning Commons for this important virtual assembly. There is a copy of Graduation Information Booklet (which all Grade 12s received on December 5) on our school website for all information pertaining to Graduation. Printed copies are also available in T-Wing Guidance office.
- All instructions for how to request tickets for the ceremony as well as purchasing tickets for the Banquet will be posted within the Graduation Information Booklet.
- All updates regarding Grad 2026 will be communicated to students in Period 2 on February 20.
Please be reminded that grade 12 students will lose access to their CBE Google accounts when they leave the CBE and email accounts will be deleted. Before the last day of school students need to save any files and emails they want to keep on personal emails or files.

Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal / Grad Gown Pickup
Thursday, May 7 (Block 4, Period 3 - 2:11pm - 3:35pm) - Grad Gowns will be picked up at the end of the Grad Rehearsal.
It is very important that all graduands participating in the ceremony be at the rehearsal (in our gym) to learn the procedures for the processional/recessional, as well as any last minute details.
Baby Photo Slideshow
A slideshow of baby pictures of the Class of 2026 will be created and made available to view on the monitors around the school.
It is easy to participate. Here’s how:
FIRST, find a baby photo. ✔ Option 1: For Digital photos ● Go to the D2L site "Grad 2026 Baby Photos" (students must do this as parents/guardians do not have access to student D2L sites) ● Open the link to the Google Forms and fill out the form entirely ● Upload the chosen baby photo using the following file format name: last name_first name_student ID_babyphoto (Eg: smith_jane_12345_babyphoto) OR ✔ Option 2: Scan and email digital copy of a hard copy photo
● Email a copy of the baby photo to Ms. Ruault at laruault@cbe.ab.ca with photo file name as: last name_first name_ student ID_babyphoto ● Please put [student’s full name baby photo] in the Subject Line Photos must be submitted by Friday, May 1, 2026 in order to be in the slideshow.
