Booking an Appointment & Hours
Appointments with Guidance Counsellors can be made through Ms. Harrison in the T wing office. Please call 403-256-8140 ext 2777. Office hours are 8am - 4pm (M-Th) and 8am - 1:45pm (F).
The counsellors in Student Services offer educational, career, and personal counselling. They also provide information on scholarships and bursaries, and referrals to or liaisons with social agencies, educational institutions, government agencies and the business community. It is our hope that through the resources available in Student Services, students will be better informed and able to make appropriate decisions for themselves now and in the future. Guidance Counsellors are here to support you.

Course & Timetable Changes
Course changes MAY be granted for the following reasons:
- Summer school course completion. If you have passed the course independently elsewhere than the CBE, please provide your official final report card to Guidance. If you attended summer school through CBe-learn or Chinook Learning, you do not need to provide a final mark to us, but you may have to have the course removed from your timetable.
- If you are missing a course (due to timetable conflicts, you may be missing a course)
- You need to balance academic demands across semesters
- You need to fulfill graduation requirements
- You need a particular course to meet post-secondary entrance requirements
- Unsuccessful completion of a course (missing a pre-requisite course)
- Acceptance into a specialty program (Dual Credit or RAP)
- Course additions or blank timetables (for new registrations)
Course Changes WILL NOT be made based on the following:
- Switching because of a teacher (teacher timetables are subject to change)
- To have certain courses or spares in specific periods
- Switching to be with friends
Course change requests will be accommodated based on course requests and availability.
Students must access their timetables through PowerSchool. Timetables will be available for viewing on PowerSchool on Friday, August 8. Please note: Student timetables are subject to change. Guidance Counsellors will be available on August 28 to September 5.
Students can request a course change by filling out a Request Change Online Form beginning Sunday, August 10 at 6:00 am, and will close Tuesday, August 19 at 11:45 pm through the following link: https://forms.office.com/r/ywzxYbLN89
