Financial Literacy for Students – A Message from CBE School Improvement and Enriched Academy

  • All high schools have been asked to share the following message with our school communities:

Welcome to Enriched Academy Parents and Graduates! A personal finance course for all 2026 Graduates

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We know financial literacy is a critical life skill for our students.  With the impact our economy has had over the last few years, understanding the basics around money management has never been more important.

We are excited to introduce a new, unbiased resource designed for students to learn about money: Enriched Academy | Canada’s #1 Financial Literacy Resource

Enriched Academy is Canada’s leading online personal financial education program that has been partnering with Alberta Education for the past five years to provide financial literacy training through online courses and tools. Enriched Academy covers topics like budgeting, credit cards, credit score, student loans, investing, insurance, taxes and much more.

We are happy to announce that your child, along with all Alberta 2026 Grads, will receive life-time personal access to the Enriched Academy program to continue their financial learning journey.

Students who complete the program by watching the first nine modules and completing the end-of-module quizzes are qualified to apply for a scholarship, valued up to $2000.  See details through this link: Enriched Academy | Canada’s #1 Financial Literacy Resource.

Parents, you can request an account for your child by filling out the form found here: Enriched Academy for Alberta Students

An Enriched Academy Representative will then create an account for your child and send an email with login details.

We hope this program will help prepare our graduates for the future, wherever their journey will take them.

If you have questions, please reach out to Support@enrichedacademy.com

Sincerely,

Sonya Fox

Director, Education, Alberta Region

Thank you for taking the time to read this lengthy Messenger.  Have a great remainder of the week.

Sincerely,
