Dear Centennial High School Community, What a week it has been! Our Broadcast Journalism students traveled to Ernest Manning High School early yesterday morning, and produced a combined news broadcast that is a fantastic example of schools working together to enrich student learning. Wednesday evening, we had a wonderful retirement celebration for Sarah Kilby, who has been an incredible teacher of Fashion Studies and Personal Foods at Centennial for many years. We wish you all the very best in retirement Ms. Kilby! Meanwhile, five teams played in City Championship games this week. The silvers across the board do not reduce the outstanding season of spring athletics that Centennial has enjoyed. And, the season is not over, as several Coyotes are competing today and tomorrow in ASAA Track & Field Provincials. We celebrated all of our Centennial student athletes last night at our Night of the Coyote Athletic Awards banquet, complete with our battered but proud girls' rugby team arriving straight from the pitch – after one of the most entertaining and hard fought games of rugby I have ever seen. Please read on for a number of additional updates. Last Day of Classes June 10 - The last day of regular classes for students in our regular programs is Tuesday, June 10
