Dear Centennial High School Community,
Last night our school hosted a very successful wrestling meet, with athletes from across the city competing. Also last night, members of our administration team visited students, parents and staff at Samuel W. Shaw School to discuss the transition of Grade 9 students into high school (we visit MidSun next week). Meanwhile, our Open House Committee has been hard at work preparing for the evening of January 29, and this morning we welcomed staff from several feeder schools for further discussions about how to support and prepare our incoming Grade 10s. It sounds like we have an outstanding cohort of students coming our way in the fall. It is amazing how quickly things move in the world of high school. Grad is only four months away!
Please read on for a number of updates.
