Dear Centennial High School Community,
Another week is coming to an end, and it has been a fantastic one at Centennial. Last night our Symphonic and Jazz Bands, as well as our Choir, performed to an over-packed house in the gymnasium at our Annual Winter Concert. It was an incredible night of music, with superb solo, ensemble, and full band performances. In addition, CHAMP (the Centennial High Association of Music Parents) collected a significant sum in cash donations and an abundance of non-perishable food items at the concert, to deliver today to the Calgary Food Bank.
Our visual and performing artists bring so much life to our school. On behalf of all of us at Centennial, I want to express my gratitude to each and every one of our fine and performing artists, as well as the staff, volunteers, and parent community who support the arts at our school and beyond.
Please read on for a number of updates.
