Dear Centennial High School Community, It has been a week of showcasing our incredible Fine and Performing Arts programs, and what a week it has been! The Play that Goes Wrong was exceptional, our Winter Music Concert extraordinary, and our Pop-Up Art Show amazing. Today will conclude with an energizing Pep Rally, which Leadership students have been planning for months. I look forward to it!

Guidance News - The last day to make changes to Semester 2 timetables is Wednesday, January 22
- While Semester 1 classes are still in session, students can drop in to Guidance during Tutorial, or make appointments in the T-Wing Guidance Office until January 10
- Once Final Exams begin, Guidance Counsellors will be available on a drop in basis throughout the day until January 22
- Semester 2 begins Tuesday, January 28
From the Guidance Department: Post-Secondary Update - The University of Alberta Augustana Campus will be hosting a getaway opportunity for 20 lucky students from across Alberta

Winter Break - The last day of classes prior to Winter Break is Friday, December 20
- Classes resume Monday, January 6
- The last day of regular classes in Semester 1 is Friday, January 10
- Students will be able to attend school January 13 – 16 during our Final Exam session for credit recovery and Final Exam preparation

Fundraisers! - We have seen a number of successful fundraising initiatives raise significant money for our school Breakfast and Lunch programs, which help students facing food insecurity
- In addition to the hundreds of dollars in dry goods and hundreds of dollars raised by CHAMP (the Centennial High Association of Music Parents) at our Winter Concert last night, our Book Club’s Book Drive and subsequent Used Book Sale, our Leadership fundraising initiatives, and more, have resulted in thousands of much-needed dollars to support our students in need
